Army spox: Iran holds large stockpile of new missiles, drones

Iranian Army spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami-Nia confirmed that the Iranian Army possesses a substantial stockpile of newly developed offensive military equipment.

Brigadier General Akrami-Nia stated that new defensive and offensive systems, including missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), were being produced on a daily basis throughout the war.

The Iranian Army spokesperson stressed that these newly developed defensive and offensive systems will be unveiled at the appropriate time.

The disclosure comes as Iran also signals plans to further develop its missile capabilities in the aftermath of the US-Israeli aggression, including extending the range of its missile systems.

Iran set to work on increasing its missiles' range: Army spox

Tehran will work to increase the range of its missiles following the war with the United States, Akrami-Nia said on Sunday, noting that US forces are currently stationed at distances of up to approximately 1,000 kilometers from Iran's coastlines.

Speaking to Fars News Agency, Akrami Nia said Iran concluded during the war that there is a "definite necessity" to increase the range of its missiles, confirming that work in this direction is already underway.

Akrami Nia explained that the development of missile speed and range will cover all missiles of the Iranian army, in line with the presence of US forces at distances of up to approximately 1,000 kilometers from Iran's coastlines.
